Sentimental over re-visited e-mails

For some reason The Fernan clan website is quiet tonight. No visits, nothing on my Yahoo mail and thank goodness Bong put a stop to the viagra, sedatives and other drugs spam notices on the guestbook. Those notices kept me on my toes and agitated since it appeared four days ago. No new e-mails so I revisited the 1999 e-mails when the Fernan website was created.

'Well, I hope this piece of info is going to help you. I'm glad this website has been established so we can track relatives and exchange info. Hopefully we'll get accurate and complete info about the family one of these days. Someone hopefully will be able to remember bits and pieces from what we've been told from childhood and maybe get corroboration from the rest of the family members.'

Cynthia's message sums up the intention of the Family homepage. I interviewed Papa in December 1999 and I am glad I did when his memory was still sharp and his responses spontaneous. There are still many questions and gaps to fill in on his lifestory. The same goes for the Fernan website as it slowly builds up. Gaps that I know Papa or any Fernan parents could assist in filling out. Unfortunately, I am already too late. Papa's physcial and mental health is rapidly fading and for us the gaps might remain unanswered.

I would love to hear those stories from Uncle Max (yes, he was always Uncle to us). Wouldn't you Baby Paz? (yes, she is always Baby Paz in our family). I have started adding my story on Tio Totong's (Demetrio) page and Dodong's Munasque's story on his grandmother Maria Lim for all to share. Hopefully, more family members could do the same.
